The Winging
A week straight of winging really helps to advance your level. Our camps provide an empowering group setting for women to learn intermediate to advanced skills. You can expect us to be on the beach or on the water for 2-4hrs/day (conditions permitting) where we will offer extra support and pointers for jump-starting your progression.
Spend a week with us to receive consistent and thoughtful feedback and incorporate these pointers into your wing foiling at your own pace over the course of the camp.
Example trip goals: Gain confidence, meet friends, first jumps, riding toeside, upwind progression, riding swell, learning tacks, and have a great vacay!
The air temp is warm and water is cool-ish. Bring your bikinis + board shorts & tanks for mornings in the sun and your full 3/2 wetsuit and hoodies for when the wind picks up.
OUR YOGA INSTRUCTOR

About La ventana
La Ventana is a laid back fishing village & now kiteboarding town located on the Baja Californa Sur peninsula located about 2 1/2 hours from Cabo San Lucas. As the thermal picks up around mid morning, the wind funnels between the mainland and Cerralvo Island and blows side onshore consistently from November to April. The Sea of Cortez has been referred to as “the world’s aquarium” due to the abundance of sea life.
The Wind:
The peak of the windy season is December to March. It is typically a mid day thermal that gets accelerated by a venturi effect as the wind sucks onshore between the island and mainland. Typical sessions start around 11am and last until the sun starts to set at about 5pm. The wind is side-on-shore from the Northeast direction.
The Digs:
Stay in a private or shared bedroom overlooking the beach, and just steps away from one of the best beaches for kiteboarding.
MEet Nadja
Our pro coach Nadja grew up in a small town in the Southern part of Austria, bordering Italy and Slovenia. Surrounded by the alps, beautiful mountains and lakes she always loved the outdoors. Nadja grew up skiing, snowboarding and dancing ballet.
In 2015, she moved to California where she took her first kiteboarding lesson and hasn't stopped ever since. Over the past three years, she has been traveling around the world teaching kiteboarding, training and competing.
In 2019, she won the Triple S open and since then has been showcased in several Kiteboarding magazines. She is sponsored by Naish Kiteboarding and Mystic.
Nadja loves progressing in the sport and learning new disciplines, however, her true passion is to teach and help others enjoy kiteboarding as much as she does.
The Food
We’re thrilled to partner with local chef Daniela to provide Mediterranean-style meals for the week.
“Our cuisine is a mix of Mediterranean/Italian flavors and traditions; infused with Baja’s freshness and magic. We cook everything from scratch and we use mainly organic produce from the beautiful farms in Baja.
